About High Country Disposal
In 1999, The Bailey and Crownover Family purchased High Country Disposal located in Redmond. They have grown to 27 employees. The Company has expanded curbside recycling services and introduced curbside yard debris recycling within the city limits.
High Country Disposal services the communities of Redmond, Terrebonne, Sisters, Black Butte Ranch and Camp Sherman.
HCD offers residential and commercial garbage & recycling, drop boxes, rent-a-bins, medical waste collection and document destruction.
Additionally, the ownership group owns and operates Bend Garbage & Recycling and Deschutes Recycling located at Knott Landfill.
The Company is dedicated to bettering our community by supporting charitable endeavors and participating in various community boards and service groups. Charitable efforts are focused on family, seniors, children, education and annual community events that support these areas.
The long-term vision for all companies is to keep it family owned. Children and grandchildren are already working after school and during the summer at the business, setting the stage for the next generation to continue the legacy.
